Air conditioning piping connects the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and expansion valve, forming a closed system through which the refrigerant flows. An air conditioning system primarily consists of three pipes: the compressor intake pipe, the exhaust pipe, and the condenser discharge pipe.
Air conditioning piping can be categorized by material, such as copper, aluminum, and rubber hoses;
by pressure, high-pressure and low-pressure pipes; and by the state of the refrigerant, gaseous and liquid pipes.
Automotive air conditioning piping primarily consists of aluminum pipes, connectors (such as pressure plates, connectors, and nuts),
air conditioning hoses, air conditioning bellows, charging ports, and O-rings.
